The new Los Angeles Galaxy logo unveiled.
The Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer (MLS) launched a newly redesigned Galaxy team uniform and logo for the 2007 season Wednesday in time for the unveiling of its brightest star, David Beckham on Friday.

The collegiate navy home and white away replica jerseys are already on sale in Los Angeles stores, and Beckham will wear number 23, the same number he adopted when he arrived at Real Madrid in 2003.
“We wanted a classic and clean look that would stand the test of time, something that generations of players and fans would wear with pride on and off the field,” said Los Angeles Galaxy President and General Manager Alexi Lalas. “We strived to create a jersey with an eye to the future and a nod to the past.”
The new logo is features a “Quasar”, and it will appear on new the playing jersey with two embroidered stars representing the Galaxy's two MLS Cup championships.
