HCL Fasteners Ties up its Dynamic New Corporate Identity
HCL Fasteners (www.hclfasteners.co.uk) - the company responsible for unleashing the renowned Herbie Clip and Ezclik plastic hose clamps, Ezybond Earth Clamp and Smart Band and Smart Tie offshore banding systems on to the world-wide marketplace - has revamped its image with a new corporate identity. The re-branding exercise, carefully undertaken over several months, has resulted in a new website and logotype, launching today.
Peter Coles, sales director at HCL, comments: “The plastic clamping market is our business. We therefore felt the need to change our company logo to reflect this, while getting away from any connotations involving nuts, bolts and screws, as we've never been a wholesale supplier of those.
“With this in mind, the new strapline beneath our logo is now 'plastic clamping solutions' which, we believe, conveys the key skills and core activity of HCL.”
HCL's renowned, patented products are outlined on its new website. With a clean, geometric design, the site was created to cater for the changing needs of the consumer base. With clients increasingly demanding technical information on all products, HCL considered it vital to make product specifications available for download. Accordingly, these appear in a user-friendly 'PDF Library'.
HCL also felt that the website should highlight the changing nature of the products it manufactures and distributes. Peter Coles says: “Historical reliance on the Herbie clip hose clamp is no more, and diversification has given us considerable success with other products. Key areas are offshore banding systems - where the rising cost of high-grade, non-corrosive, metallic banding systems along with the ease of installation provided by the banding products Smart Band and Smart Tie has boosted sales into the sub-sea oil and gas sector - and the launch of the groundbreaking Ezybond plastic Earth Clamp which provides significant cost savings on installation time for Electrical contractors.”
He concludes: “Our new corporate identity, as it appears on the website and logo, is definitely a more worthy reflection of a dynamic company that is experiencing a period of growth.”
