GTA presents new logo
As GTA presented its new logo to the public yesterday, the telecommunications company also announced plans to extend its call center hours starting tomorrow.
The new logo reflects GTA's long standing commitment to the island of Guam. It features Guam’s flying proa, a historical sailing vessel known for its speed, agility, strength, and for being the most technologically advanced vessel of its day, a GTA news release stated.
“We are proud to present the flying proa as the symbol of our company. It is our hope that our customers will come to associate GTA and our products and services with the characteristics of the proa — fast, agile, strong and technologically advanced,” Nelson Tanaka, Chief Operating Officer for GTA stated. “We further hope that the new logo will reflect our island roots and our commitment to continuing to support the people of Guam with a full range of communications services.”
GTA also announced its new “Always There” Call Center hours, offering customer service 24 hours a day.
Effective tomorrow, GTA residential, business, and government customers will be able to call 644-4GTA to speak with a GTA representative for standard call center service, Mpulse wireless service, Spyder Internet support, 411 Operator service, 611 Repair, and 711 Phone Relay service any time of the day.
GTA customers will be able to pay bills over the phone, receive product and service information, make billing inquiries and activate certain services and features, the GTA release stated.
