AMII unveils a new identity
The Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) has launched a new logo and website that aim to give the association a more modern feel.
AMII’s objectives behind the new logo were to make it “easily recognisable, modern and contemporary, people orientated, and one that can work equally well in all media forms”.
Speaking at the recent AMII annual conference, chairman Phil Taylor said: “Both the new logo and website provide the backdrop for AMII. They are both modern in design and demonstrate that AMII is evolving and will become a bigger force within the industry for years to come.”
He said AMII has plans to expand its membership to include IFAs selling private medical insurance and an “associated” membership category for insurers. It will also review its current fee structure with the possible introduction of a sliding scale of fees based on the size of individual businesses.
Taylor added that discussions with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) to develop an AMII sponsored suite of exams were “progressing very well”.
