Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has acquired a new identity and logo
Introducing the new corporate identity and logo at the Ritz-Carlton last night, QIB chief executive officer Salah Mohamed al-Jaidah said they adhered to the precepts of Islamic Shariah, high ethical virtues and international banking standards.
He said the new logo “reflects the vision and vocation of a pioneering bank that endeavours to offer innovative Shariah-compatible financial solutions and quality that is the hallmark of Islamic services, in addition to maximising investment returns to shareholders and partners.”
“Our new identity reveals the concepts of universalism, transparency and reliability as being the expression of our values as an Islamic bank. It reveals the principles of transparency and reliability because we care about building honest relations with our customers and partners in all our banking and investment activities – inland and abroad,” he said.
“We want to expand our international activities by rationally increasing our market share. We are already successful in Qatar. We are also the world’s sixth largest Islamic bank now,” al-Jaidah added.
The new corporate identity and logo were launched at an impressive ceremony.
Among the dignitaries present were Minister of Finance HE Yousef Hussein Kamal, QCB Governor HE Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz al-Thani and QIB Chairman Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani. Sheikh Jassim and QIB CEO Salah Mohamed al-Jaidah spoke.
