
Qatari business giant launches its new corporate identity, Darwish Holding
Bader Abdullah Darwish & Partners (BD&P) Group, one of Qatar’s leading business organizations, unveiled their new corporate identity, Darwish Holding, under the auspices of HE Youssef Hussain Kamal, Minister of Finance & Minster (by interim) of Economy and Trade and in the presence of Bader Abdullah Al Darwish, Chairman, Darwish Holding, Saoud Abdullah Darwish, Vice Chairman, Darwish Holding as well as current partners, stakeholders, potential investors and numerous dignitaries and leaders of the business community.
Bader Abdullah Al Darwish said, “For several decades, our company has set an excellent track record in terms of performance and reputation and has experienced unparalleled growth. But our vision is to scale new heights in an increasingly competitive market environment and this exciting new image will help us redefine our culture both internally and to the rest of the world”.
Darwish Holding has seven core businesses, namely, Darwish Retail Services, Darwish Commercial, Darwish Real Estate, Darwish Investments, Darwish Industries, Darwish Business Services and Darwish Ventures. Darwish Holding has signed an agreement with Dar Investment and Development for a thirty year lease to build and operate the most luxurious mall in Qatar, Lagoona. The mall will feature more than 51,000 sq m of luxury retail space and will include 5,000 sq m of restaurants overlooking the waterfront and surrounding a 20,000 sq m landscaped European-style Piazza and 175 retail shops exhibiting the world’s leading brands, including brands that have not been present in Qatar until now.
