Controversy over new logo.
Controversy has again blown up over East Lindsey District Council's decision to introduce a new logo.

There has been discontent both at the cost of the initiative - £15,000 - and that councillors did not know about it until it appeared in the press.
At a meeting of the full council, Coun Mick Harness said: “Out of courtesy we should have been informed before we read about it in the paper.”
Leader of the council Coun Jeremy Webb apologised saying what happened was 'regrettable'. Later, Coun John Hough persisted in demanding to know who authorised the new logo. After being asked the question for a third time, Coun Webb said: “It was my decision - I am happy to be associated with a brave and good design that represents the rebirth of the authority.”
