New face of PayStream makes ’perfect sense’
PayStream has implemented a new corporate identity to convey its status as the market provider of accounting, administration and payroll solutions to personal service companies whilst also enhancing their directors’ lifestyle through other partner and service provision.
Underpinned by the theme ‘PayStream makes Perfect Sense’, the new branding will help communicate to contractors how to remain compliant following the new legislation on ‘Tackling Managed Service Companies’ by using PayStream.
PayStream Sales Director, Michael Green, explains: “Our objective is clear – to enhance the health, wealth and happiness of contractors across all professions. As the ‘Managed Service Company’ issue has become increasingly confused by composite providers claiming that they have safe solutions it is important that contractors can turn to a provider like PayStream. We offer services and solutions to contractors ‘genuinely in business on their own account’ and also services to contractors who are working inside IR35 or wish to operate through a corporate structure that fully deducts PAYE and NI from all their earnings. For those contractors who are confused about which pay solution is appropriate for their individual circumstances, they can rely on PayStream to service their needs. PayStream will help identify whether or not contractors using other providers are affected by the new legislation.
“When you work for yourself you’re busy enough getting the job done without having the time to worry about invoicing, chasing payments or sorting out VAT returns. We have created a range of high quality, competitively-priced payroll, accountancy and administrative services to take good care of the work-based financial affairs of contractors who are working inside and outside of IR35 legislation.
“More importantly, we have developed our services to include a range of added-value lifestyle solutions, as well as highly practical advantages including outstanding levels of personal support, 0800 client and contractor personal support lines, quality professional indemnity insurance, and public and employer’s liability cover.”
Commenting on the pre-budget statement, which indicated that managed service and composite companies could soon be required to pay PAYE and NI on all dividend payments to contractors from 6th April 2007. Michael concluded:
“PayStream’s objective is to provide service excellence whilst ensuring that the correct payment structures are used by contractors. Using other less compliant service providers could end up sending them on a route that could ultimately lead to residual taxation claims from HMRC.”
