Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia has a new logo that will soon grace most of its properties. The circular mark, designed by Steven Doyle of Doyle Partners, has already popped up on the company's Web products, including the Martha Stewart page on Kodak.com.

The branding initiative, which MSLO has been working on for months — it hired ad firm kirshenbaum bond + partners earlier this year — is expected to be in place for the rollout of the company's home goods in Macy's this fall.

MSLO has seen business surge since founder Martha Stewart was released from jail in March 2005. No executives were available for comment.

Hotlanta fertile for Polo Grounds

Budding music mogul Bryan Leach is shopping for a branch office in Atlanta for his newly minted Polo Grounds Music label, a unit of Sony BMG.

The satellite location will be his first step in building a hip-hop roster from scratch, says Mr. Leach, who's following in the footsteps of other New York-bred labels, including Bad Boy and Def Jam, that have opened offices in the Southern city to tap its thriving music scene.

Mr. Leach says he's close to signing his first artist — from Atlanta, of course.
