SN Systems introduces new logo and website
SN Systems, a subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) specializing in software development tools, is delighted to announce the introduction of their new logo and redesigned website. Following the acquisition of SN Systems by SCEI in late 2005, developers at the Bristol office have been busy working on new software tools and responding to feedback from game developers by implementing numerous feature requests. SN Systems is working directly with the hardware and software platform development teams at SCEI including engineers at Sony Computer Entertainment America and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, enabling the performance and functionality of the SN Systems tools to be enhanced further than ever before. Developers from SN Systems also visit game development studios worldwide, collecting feedback and advising on the product range. Training on products such as Tuner, a performance analyzer available for all the PlayStation® platforms including PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3) and PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) systems is also available upon request.
Andy Beveridge, Director commented “Becoming part of SCEI has been a very positive step that has given us closer access to the technology, enabling us to do a much better job of supporting game developers with the tools they need.
The introduction of the new logo and website represent the improvements here and underline our continuing commitment to game development. We have a vast amount of information within the website which game developers can utilize. Behind the new look; SN Systems is still very much at the forefront of game software development tools technology with the same experienced and passionate staff as before, as well as a number of new and experienced engineers who have joined the team. It's a very exciting time to be working here with team numbers increasing so we're always interested in hearing from talented engineers.”
Along with the new look and feel, the redesigned website contains detailed information of which tools are available for each platform with all the latest features listed in downloadable product data sheets. In the secure customer support area, there is a vast amount of technical FAQ's for developers to browse through using a redesigned more powerful search engine. Studios can also submit and track support calls as well as manage their licenses online.
