One Communications introduces new brand
One Communications today introduced its new brand to the business marketplace, unveiling a strengthened commitment to service and advanced telecommunications solutions. Building on the customer orientation and value of the three service providers from which the new company is formed, One Communications is implementing programs to deliver the service model of a smaller company backed by the financial strength and robust technology previously available from only the largest telecommunications companies.
“One Communications was formed to create the financial, operating and technological strengths necessary to give the SME marketplace what it wants: a more personal experience with reliable services at an excellent value,” said Thomas Casey, CEO, One Communications. “We start with what we believe is the longest-operating private IP network in the country. Our product portfolio covers the full spectrum of voice, data and Internet access - all at broadband speeds. Our operating performance measures are already at industry leading levels.”
“All 2,500 One Communications employees are committed to continuously improving our processes and performance to further increase our current high levels of customer satisfaction,” continued Casey. “One Communications will be easy to do business with, providing more personal attention and sustained customer orientation. The combination gives us a tremendous head start and we intend to build on it for the benefit of SME customers in the 16 states we serve.”
One Communications was recently formed by the combination of CTC, Choice One and Conversent Communications. The new company's mission and positioning are represented by a bold new logo and declarative new tagline: “Expect more from One.”
In conjunction with the brand announcement, One Communications has also launched its initial website, www.onecommunications.com. The website will continually undergo significant enhancements as One Communications further integrates the current and future products and services of its three legacy companies including on-line ordering, on-line billing and reports, issue resolution and more.
One Communications is the largest privately-held competitive communications provider in the United States with $800 million in annual revenue. The telecommunications network of One Communications spans from Maine to Maryland and West Virginia to Wisconsin. The company maintains substantial operations centers in Rochester, NY; Waltham, MA; Marlborough, MA; and Charleston, WV in addition to dozens of regional offices in local business communities throughout their service area.
