Finally, the Manteca Unified School District has a new logo.
The block 'M' is featured with the cross roads along with the names of the four communities that the district serves.
The school board gave its OK at last week’s meeting.
“I noticed in the prototype, we went with 'Stockton' rather than 'Weston Ranch,'” Trustee Patricia Glock-McKillip said.
The logo also includes French Camp, Lathrop, and, of course, Manteca, underneath ‘MUSD’ with the district recently making the change on to its website.
“We actually started this process about six years ago,” said board President Dale Fritchen.
But it was only recently that the board opted to revive the idea.
