Do you know? Large and successful businesses would never consider doing business without professional and originally designed marketing materials. Not having a professional “look and feel” can make it appear as though the business does not matter to the organisation. It gives the impression to the customers that the organisation does not care about the way it presents its business.
In other words, business looks jumbled or confused through unprofessional and uncoordinated marketing materials. For example, take the case of a business card with one look and feel and a Web site with another. This creates a confusing look and feel about the organisation. Even at times when looking at the organisation’s differently designed materials, potential clients think that they are looking at materials that represent different companies.
In this situation, a company’s logo is extremely influential, as it is almost always the first thing a customer sees. Once a customer becomes familiar with a business, the company’s logo will always be associated with that company name, and in turn, the company name will be associated with the logo.
So it is very important that a considerable amount of thought goes into choosing a logo. A logo should be simple, recognizable and effective at conveying the desired message to the public. Each aspect of a logo’s design should be carefully analyzed to ensure that it does in fact communicate the right message. The logo’s colors, style, size, shape, font and overall design play a part in the logo’s overall design, and are all important components to consider when creating an effective logo.

It is notable that the Bank has invited people to suggest a new logo. The bank intends to align its new design, logo and brand image as per its Vision.
While describing the vision of the Bank, Dr. Drabu said, “Our vision is to engender and catalyze economic transformation of Jammu and Kashmir and capitalize from the growth induced financial prosperity thus engineered. The bank aspires to make Jammu and Kashmir the most prosperous state in the country, by helping create a new financial architecture for the J&K economy, at the center of which will be the J&K Bank.”
He added that in line of this vision, the Bank is looking for a logo through which J&K Bank would to be perceived as a modern, customer centric bank with international standards. While the new strategy to focus on services and products within J&K has been crafted, ideas are still being sought for a new logo and design.
