Duquesne unveiled its new logo yesterday, which will be used by the school's 20 intercollegiate athletic programs. The top-hatted Duke with a flowing cape replaces the script “Duquesne” that had been used by the department since 1998.
“The release of our logo, in addition to re-branding our program, signals a new approach to how we do business,” Duquesne athletic director Greg Amodio said.
First-year men's basketball coach Ron Everhart said: “That Duke really looks like he means business. I think the image is something fans of Duquesne will rally around.”
