New PSU Logo Coming this Fall
Members of the President's Task Force for Integrated Marketing would like to thank the Portland State campus community for providing feedback during their work to update the University's visual identity and to create a new University logo.
We are excited to reveal Portland State's new logo as a preview of the new print and electronic resources that will be available for use campus-wide beginning fall 2006. This logo, used in conjunction with consistent graphic standards, will help us to better tell the “Portland State story.”
What does the logo represent?
The logo reflects key qualities of Portland State, from its engagement with the community to its progressive and dynamic personality within the field of higher education. According to the Message-on-a-Page, “Portland State University's intentional academic engagement and connection with the Portland urban area provide exceptional opportunities for learning, service, research and achievement.” (…)
