Introduction
This guide is divided into nine key sections, each of which contains useful and concise information about the application of our corporate identity and graphic standards. These two core elements are defined as:

Corporate identity - embodies how the County Council wishes to be perceived by all its audiences; the look, the feel and the style of our organisation.

Graphic standards - are the rules that we have chosen to apply to the presentation of our organisation. They include colours, material qualities, typefaces and so forth. Ensuring consistency in all these things will help the County Council to present a professional and approachable image at all times. (…)

Principal applications
There are a number of common applications, which are used extensively across all the County Council’s directorates. These can be considered principal applications, they use the master logo and their presentation is fixed. This means that a prescribed layout must be adopted.
