Globul, Member Of The Cosmote Group, Unveils New Corporate Logo

Globul unveiled today its new corporate logo, heralding a new era as member of the COSMOTE Group, premier regional player in the South East Europe mobile telecommunications market. During a Press Conference held in Sofia Globul CEO, Mr. Thanasis Katsiroubas and COSMOTE Group CEO, Mr. Evangelos Martigopoulos, presented the new corporate brand logo of the Bulgarian operator as well as the company’s future plans.

Globul continues to operate under its strong, well-established and recognised brand that has marked the company’s five-year successful track record. Adopting COSMOTE Group’s corporate philosophy and vision, the company will change the design and colour of its corporate logo, as well as the design of the company shops, product packaging and the corporate website to visually convey the synergy between Globul and COSMOTE Group.

Globul’s new, fresh identity is consistent with its strategy for integration within the COSMOTE Group, started with the 400 mil. Euro acquisition of 100% of Globul share capital by COSMOTE from the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE), finalised in August 2005.

Communicating COSMOTE Group’s mission to bring people closer by offering accessible communication, effortlessly and simply, all Group operators in Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania and FYROM have adopted or are in the process of adopting COSMOTE’s insignia with the light green colour and the communication waves in a lighter shade.

Globul’s new corporate brand identity will be communicated by an advertising campaign launched under the slogan “The Best is Yet To Come”, while the logo in company material will be gradually replaced.
