Columbus IT Introduces New Brand Strategy
Technology makes it possible. We make IT work. Those are the words that kick off the complete rebranding of international consulting and software development company Columbus IT (CPH:COLUM). The slogan was selected by a majority of the 900 employees in Columbus IT who thus became involved in the brand strategy process.

Columbus IT now launches new Web sites for 22 international offices, a new logo and brand book, templates for PowerPoint, brochures, documents, fact sheets and e-mail signatures as well as a new pay-off. The main focus and values of Columbus IT’s new brand strategy is its biggest asset: people. (…)

Brand strategy reflects competitive advantages Columbus IT keeps the full name Columbus IT Partner for legal documents and stock exchange purposes. But as of today, the shorter version of the company name Columbus IT will be used in all other marketing material and text. The decision to rid the name of ‘Partner’ and to focus on people in an international environment is a result of in depth research.

“To pin down our main competitive advantages we completed several focus groups with customers,” said Geckler. “In close cooperation with an international advertising agency, we have created our new design and the core values and symbolism it represents. Being an international organization with real people in real offices around the world, was one key advantage which we decided should be represented by pictures and portraits.”
