Silicon Valley Association of Consultants Launches New Brand and Plan for Growth
After 30 years of leadership in the Silicon Valley consulting community, PATCA is pleased to announce a rebirth of its organization. Sporting a new brand and identity, PATCA has launched a plan to introduce expanded programs for members and improved referral services for clients over the next few months.

The new approach comes as the result of a deeper understanding of the diversity of PATCA's clients and the composition of its membership base, which spans the full breadth of specialized practice areas, from HR to Finance, from Business Management to Law, and from Marketing to High Technology. A more modern and comprehensive identity was needed to better serve clients and attract new members in an evolving global business environment. Originally called the “Professional and Technical Consultants' Association,” the association will be known exclusively by its more memorable acronym, “PATCA.”

“PATCA's new logo and identity were created as key parts of a campaign to build awareness of our free consultant referral service as a valuable corporate resource for projects that require specialized talent,” said James Lansing, President of the association. “We are also serious about providing excellent visibility and benefits for our members, and our new logo — emphasizing the `expert edge' — presents PATCA as an organization that helps both our clients and our consultants to succeed in this future-focused market.”

Carole Edman, a PATCA HR consultant who chairs the Marketing Committee, explained, “Our new logo and tagline show that PATCA is an association that is dedicated to providing members and clients with the expert edge. To deliver on that promise, we are revisiting and improving the fundamental programs that we offer.”
