Grey Creative Group launches new corporate identity - Stop Studios
Durham-based Grey Creative Group is proud to announce the launch of their new corporate identity - Stop Studios. The company’s new name, logotype and website will better highlight the nationally recognized creative firm’s creativity and vision. “Since opening shop in 2004, we’ve grown as a company,” says Creative Director and Principal Whitney Wilkerson. “The name and the image of Grey Creative Group no longer underscored the dynamism and breadth of our business. Stop Studios gives us the opportunity to express our evolution.”
Stop Studios is a creative workshop that helps its clients find their voice and use it clearly within a crowded marketplace. Stop Studios offers communication design that is engaging and sophisticated, and event marketing that is imaginative and disciplined. As Creative Partners, Stop Studios’ attention to detail helps their clients to execute seamless marketing programs - from the structures of a budget to creating engaging event themes.
Stop Studios’ new logotype is a visual reflection of what the firm does for its clients - the “p” and “s” letterforms are cut off abruptly, causing the viewer to stop and focus their attention on the white space in between the two words. “I view the gap between ‘Stop’ and ‘Studios’ as symbolic of the creative space where we partner with our clients to develop ideas,” says Raven Manocchio, Business Director and Principal. “We are pleased with our ability to have designed a mark that is both immediately recognizable and that has significant contextual meaning.”
In conjunction with their new name and logotype, Stop Studios is also introducing a new ‘Creative Partners’ tagline. “Now more than ever, we want to emphasize our collaborative working style,” says Manocchio. “We share in our clients’ risks and rewards with every project that we undertake. Stop Studios needed a tagline that was inclusive and articulate about how we translate our clients’ objectives and aesthetic across different mediums, including writing, brand development, client entertaining, product launches, exhibition design, and the production of large-scale events. The ‘Creative Partners’ tagline sums up these points perfectly.” (…)
