Perennial Identity Guidelines
Excerpt:
Welcome to our identity
We express our charity, our vision and our values through our name, symbol and defining statement. We also communicate who we are through our unique colours, typefaces and particular style of images.
Primarily, we identify ourselves through our identity unit that is made up of three parts. Each part (the name, the symbol and the defining statement) is vital in giving the right impression of our organisation to our donors, stakeholders, working partners and the people we help.
When we are writing about the charity, we will use both our new name and our original title in the first instance in text, Perennial – Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society. In subsequent references, only Perennial should be used. Please always ensure that the S apostrophe is used in reference to the Gardeners’ and that there is a single space before and after the dash that links our new name to our original title.
The different greens used in our identity combine the classic and the contemporary. The rich, dark green of our name reflects our tradition, while the bright green of our defining statement implies our attitude towards the future.
