Demaree Public Relations Announces New Corporate Identity as DPR Group, Inc.
New name reflects transition to a full service public relations agency and continued growth

Demaree Public Relations, Inc., a public relations agency that represents a broad range of technology companies, today announced that it has changed its name to DPR Group, Inc. The primary purpose of the name change is to reflect the company’s growth from a small, highly-focused firm to an agency offering expanded public relations and marketing support services to a variety of high-tech companies. Along with the name change, the company has unveiled a new logo, corporate colors, and website: www.dprgroup.com.

Originally founded as Demaree Public Relations by Dan Demaree in 1998, the then Boston-based company established a solid reputation for helping small, privately-owned software companies expand their market outreach in preparation for a merger or acquisition. Over time, the company expanded its client base to add systems integrators, electronics and hardware manufacturers, telecom companies, consulting firms and a variety of professional services companies. In January 2001, the company moved its corporate headquarters to Maryland. DPR Group currently maintains offices in Germantown, Maryland and Henniker, New Hampshire.

Dan Demaree, founder and president of DPR Group said, “We decided to change our name because the company has continued to grow and add new services, some of which go well beyond our core public relations services. To remain competitive within the high-tech public relations sector, we have to continually listen to our clients’ needs, and search for new, innovative ways to help them gain increased brand recognition and market acceptance. The DPR Group name better represents our added value to potential customers and will help enhance our positioning within the marketplace.”
