
Fredericksburg Area Tourism Adopts An Enduring Theme
The ancient ones who settled on the banks of the Rappahannock River 12,000 years ago knew it. The Colonial-era citizens who helped build a new nation knew it. Even the founders of a world-famous frozen custard stand knew it. They all knew that there was something quite special about the Fredericksburg Area. They knew that it was, in a word, Timeless.
So Fredericksburg Area Tourism, which represents the City of Fredericksburg and the Counties of Spotsylvania and Stafford, has developed a new brand that defines all that the Area has to offer as a destination. The brand has a theme that is simple, and to the point: Fredericksburg. Timeless.
“The word ‘Timeless’ is evocative of so many images,” David Holder, Fredericksburg’s Director of Tourism, noted. “For visitors to the Fredericksburg Area, it’s the opportunity to just let time slip away and enjoy themselves for a few hours, or a few days. It could be the meal of a lifetime in one of our wonderful chef-owned restaurants, or a round of golf on one of our world-class golf courses. (…)
The new Fredericksburg Area Tourism theme will be used on a variety of marketing and promotional materials, from brochures to newspaper and magazine advertising. The “Timeless” theme will also be the heart of a redesigned and upgraded Fredericksburg Area Tourism website.
