NRMCA Unveils New Logo at CONEXPO-CON/AGG
Modernized Design Reinforces Concrete's Sustainable and Contemporary Role

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) announced today that it has unveiled a new logo as part of its 75th anniversary celebration. The logo was shown for the first time two days ago during the Association's Annual Convention, held at the Venetian hotel. The new logo is now prominently displayed at NRMCA's CONEXPO-CON/AGG booth (#S9927), as well as at the exhibits of the association's many members at the show.

The green color of the logo and the modernized mixer drum image were selected to reinforce to the industry and public that ready mixed concrete is environmentally friendly and supports sustainable growth. The new logo also invites ready mixed producers, the industry at large and the public to take a fresh look at the world's most versatile, durable and cost-effective building material.

The unveiling of the new logo launches a new public image and media relations campaign for NRMCA on behalf of the ready mixed concrete industry. The association has retained a leading Washington, DC, marketing communications firm to assist in educating consumer and construction industry media editors about the benefits of incorporating concrete into home and commercial design to take advantage of the material's green building advantages and legendary durability.
