Province injects 'life' into ad campaign
People are now being asked to “Come to Life,” as Nova Scotia adopts a new slogan.

The $1.4-million branding campaign was unveiled at a ceremony Thursday in Halifax, with officials saying the goal is to promote a clear and positive image for the province. The logo includes three blue waves above the name of the province. Below that is the slogan “Come to Life.”

As a way to launch the campaign, the province premiered a new jingle. It's also using testimonials from certain Nova Scotians saying how they love living and working in the province. One of them is by Sanja Pecelj, the Serbian woman who spent 441 days in a Halifax church basement to avoid deportation.

“I just love it here. And I would say to everybody that they should come and see it for themselves,” she said. (…)
