Last week the Westin provided the setting for e-Technologies Cayman Islands Ltd, to reveal their new corporate identity to staff and shareholders.
Re-branded as caymanone the new logo, colour scheme and tagline was described as better reflecting the Company’s market positioning.
“Today we unveil the caymanone of the future to the people who will make it all happen – our employees,” said John Robertson, Chief Executive Officer, speaking at the launch last Wednesday 16 February.
“I thank our employees for their contribution to date. It is through their hard work and dedication that caymanone is being positioned to succeed in the rapidly changing telecom industry.
“Our future success will be driven by the loyalty of our employees and our customers. The initiatives launched today signal our commitment to deliver an unprecedented customer experience to the people of the Cayman Islands,” he added.
The company stated that the new logo was designed to emphasise the word “one,” to reinforce the foundation of the caymanone brand – the individual.
A single rectangle turned on its edge represents the company’s approach to the marketplace. The new palette, inspired by the sea and sand, communicates a sophisticated and friendly approach, reflecting the openness of the caymanone brand. The Company’s promise to its customers is expressed in its new tagline – one changes everything.
“We wanted our new brand identity to reflect our core values - empowering, visionary, passionate and authentic, as these are the key drivers that will be critical to our future success. We are aligning our vision, mission and values with the marketplace, and we believe that this new brand projects caymanone as a unique, customer-centric company, geared for the future. Our new identity is a significant indication of our momentum, our distinctiveness, and our fundamental value proposition to customers,” added Robertson.
The new brand and corporate identity will be implemented in phases. From advertising to product packaging, to its corporate office and retail locations and website.
Over the coming months. caymanone plans to offer a full range of telecom services to residential and business customers, including local and international voice, mobile, high speed Internet and data networking.
Caymanone was awarded a full service telecommunications license by the Information and Communications Technology Authority (ICTA) on 22 July, 2004. The Company is currently building a state-of-the-art network to provide connectivity to residential and business customers across Cayman, utilising next generation Internet-based technologies. Its services will range from fixed wireless and mobile voice and data communications, to IP-broadband services. Headquartered in Grand Cayman, the Company is building a distribution network across the island.
