
SMYE Holland Associates launches new corporate identity and announces plany for further growth
Peterborough-based public relations and marketing consultancy Smye Holland Associates (SHA) has launched a new corporate identity and announced plans for expansion following exceptional growth and success during 2004.
The company increased turnover by more than 40 per cent last year through securing a number of prestigious new clients. It is now recruiting two new staff to work within the company's four specialist teams to help with the increased workload.
“Our new identity has been launched to coincide with the announcement of our expansion plans,” said account director Geoff Jones. “We wanted to present a modern, vibrant look that gets across exactly what we specialise in marketing communications.
“Last year we set up four specialist team to help grow the business. This strategy has so far proved highly successful and this, combined with our new look, will provide a foundation for further growth during 2005.”
SHA used local design agency T2 Studios to create its new communications materials, which include stationery, a corporate brochure, leaflets, advertisements and a new website www.smye-holland.com.
“We created SHAs communications to present a bright, energetic company,” said James Lewis, strategy director at T2 Studios. “We have worked with SHA on many projects, combining our creative design with their public relations skills to provide companies with highly effective marketing services.
“We are delighted to have developed SHA's communication materials and look forward to building our relationship further during 2005.”
Smye Holland Associates has honed its skills to provide marketing services to specific industries, where it can offer a specialised service.
The company set up four teams to provide marketing and public relations services to organisations working in recycling and waste management, economic development, social housing and technology and engineering sectors.
Clients include major companies such as Mitsubishi Automation, Rexam Glass, Avnet Time and government development agency English Partnerships. Long-term clients include a number of Peterborough-based companies such as Peter Brotherhood, which the company has worked with for the past 17 years, Greater Peterborough Investment Agency, the London Internet Exchange and Drain Doctor Plumbing.
Michael Holland, managing director at Smye Holland Associates, said: “The re-structuring and re-branding is an exciting time for the company. Over the next few years we plan to expand the company further and are putting in place the building blocks to facilitate this.”
