New logo for Brunei Darussalam Information Technology Council
The Brunei Darussalam Information Technology Council yesterday unveiled its new logo and slogan during the Brunei ICT Award Expo held at the Indoor Stadium.
Coinciding with the launch of the expo, the unveiling was performed by Minister of Health Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Setia Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Apong, in his capacity as the Acting Minister of Communication.
Both the logo and slogan were picked from the recent 'Logo and Slogan Competition' organised by the e-Business Program Executive committee through the IT Secretariat, Department of Information Technology and state store.
The competition was organised in an attempt to develop public awareness on the Brunei Darussalam Information Technology Council.
The day also saw the minister of health presenting prizes to the winners of the competition.
Awarded for the best logo entry was Awang Azlan bin Ahmad who received a $1,500 cash prize, while Awang Adi Iskandar bin Haji Abu Bakar earned himself $750 for offering the best slogan 'Stepping Forward' or 'Melangkah Kehadapan.'
