KOTRA Launches New Corporate Logo

Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) on Sunday unveiled a new corporate identity (CI), changing its corporate logo in 42 years since its foundation back in 1962.

KOTRA President Oh Young-kyo last Friday said KOTRA found the 42-year old design of their corporate logo outmoded in the present digital era and it failed to symbolize its pioneering image.

He said KOTRA is launching the new logo from Dec. 1. The new CI effectively represents KOTRA’s key images as digitalized, smart and organically, globally networked organization, he added.

Oh also said that it will draw up a new vision to spur its drive to grow into a world-class trade and investment promotion agency. He said the new vision will focus on finding new growth momentum for the Korean economy, developing a customer-oriented corporate culture and enhancing transparency of its management.

KOTRA plans to hold a ceremony to launch the new CI Wednesday at its headquarters in Yomgok-dong, southern Seoul.
