Housestyle and text guidelines
Marketing and Development manages the University's visual identity, including implementation, review and development. This covers not only publications, the web and advertising, but also window displays and stationery. Signs in buildings are handled by Estates and Facilities. (…)
The crest
The crest is the heraldic device created by the College of Arms for the University of Westminster in 1992. The crest tells the story of the history of the institution in symbols since its founding in 1838. It is used only on certain corporate materials where its use is deemed appropriate by the Vice-Chancellor or at the discretion of the Marketing and Development Office acting on his behalf. This applies to the full crest as well as to the shield, badge and any other symbols derived from it.
