I made this manual of my own corporate identity, in a class about “corporate design”, at The National University of Colombia. I worked in this for a 35 days. The name of the class is “Graphic institucional identity” and the teacher is the master in graphic design Gabriel Suarez. I´m student of 3th year of design.
This is the meaning of my own brand: the words “J” and “R”are inside in a shape of a book. The words J and R plus a point in the right side, form a face, that means the humanist and academic caracter of my interest in the graphic design and Cultural development.

Visual Identity

The present book is a project of the V.I. workshop at the Graphics School in the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá, leaded by professor Gabriel Suárez.
The students should design their own identity as a future professional graphic designers.
The book has 3 parts:

Concept and objectives
Juián Roa is a student of the third year. His main interest in the professional scope is editorial design, as well, as cultural projects.

His identity is based on his initials, the letters J and R. The idea of the book is due to the specific field of work. The face is related with the humanistic side of the action of design.
Construction, typography, color and scales.
Basic Stationery
Letterhead, business card and envelope
