Agilisys, a leading supplier of enterprise software solutions to select manufacturing and distribution industries, announced today that it has changed its name to Infor Global Solutions. The change is effective September 6, 2004.
“The goal of this name change is to provide us with a strong global brand to support continued international growth,” said Jim Schaper, Chairman and CEO of Infor Global Solutions. “In the past 24 months, we have grown our revenue and successfully completed numerous acquisitions that we believe have strengthened our position in the markets we serve. Our new name represents the company’s on-going mission of solving the essential issues of select vertical markets.”
Infor is a global provider of enterprise software solutions to select manufacturing and distribution industries. The company focuses on solving the essential challenges of companies in the automotive, specialty chemical/pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, discrete manufacturing, food and beverage, and distribution industries.
