With the merger of Byggeriets Arbejdsgivere (The Construction Industry Employers’ Association) and Danske Entreprenører (Danish Contractors), Dansk Byggeri was formed on 1 January 2003.
The new organisation has 6,000 member companies with 70,000 employees within the building and construction sector.
Based on the two organisations existing platforms, Bysted designed a visual identity for the new organisation, with Dansk Byggeri's logo at the core.
The logo was inspired by the concepts of “building” and “putting elements together” where the colours reflect “construction” – the orange for bricks, roof tiles and the earth, while grey relates to stone, concrete and roads.
