
Xinhua Finance Unveils a New Face for its Corporate Identity and Launches Revamped Website
HONG KONG, June 1, 2004 — Xinhua Finance, China's premier financial services and media company, unveils today a new corporate identity and logo and launches a revamped website. This new corporate image reflects Xinhua Finance's momentum as a first-mover and market leader providing the best investment tools for the China market.
Founded in 1999, Xinhua Finance has four core product groups for the China market: indices, financial news, ratings and investor relations, all of which help to enhance investor confidence, transparency and market efficiency. To match this intensive growth, Xinhua Finance is rolling out a brand new corporate identity. Developed internally, Xinhua Finance's revitalized identity retains the Chinese traditional calligraphy of its previous branding, while incorporating a modern logo design and a new color scheme. The logo's invigorating design leverages the bold imprint of a Chinese-style signature seal that is engraved with the “xin” of “Xinhua Finance” (the Chinese character “xin” translates to “new”, “fresh” and “up-to-date”). The mix of traditional elements with modern design concepts reveals the harmonious convergence of East and West in the company, along with its global nature.
As part of this roll out, Xinhua Finance also announced the launch of its revamped website at www.xinhuafinance.com. The company website provides information on the company and its four core businesses: indices, financial news, ratings and investor relations. Constructed to present essential information for shareholders, investors, the media and the general public, Xinhua Finance's new website includes resources such as up-to-date press releases, media mentions, events information and in-depth company and product information. Currently, the website is available in English, with Chinese and Japanese versions to come.
