TSI becomes Syniverse Technologies

TSI changes company name and brand identity to reflect growing demands of the global technology market

TSI Telecommunication Services Inc. (TSI), a global communications technology company, announced today it has changed its corporate name to Syniverse Technologies, Inc. (www.syniverse.com), effective immediately. The change in corporate name was made to better reflect the company’s overall strategy to more clearly define its presence in the global technology sector and to broaden the company’s strategic direction. The name Syniverse is inspired by a “universe of synergy” and speaks to the company’s role as a global catalyst for meaningful connections.

Additionally, Syniverse Technologies unveiled their new corporate brand and logo as part of the company’s international advertising campaign. The new company logo – the Syniverse Spark – represents the potential for innovation and ingenuity.

“The name change provides us with a universal, instantly recognizable identity. We are very excited to move forward with the Syniverse Technologies name as well as a new look and feel for the company. Along with this change, we will continue to capitalize on our successes to date while realizing the Syniverse vision of global connectivity,” said Ed Evans, CEO, Syniverse Technologies. “This is yet another strategic step in the evolution of the company. As we align ourselves with the advancements in the global technology market, we will continue to build our brand to extend our core purpose, values and promise as an integral part of the international telecommunications value chain.”

The new corporate name positions Syniverse as a global market leader in the technology and telecommunications network services arena, and further demonstrates the company’s leadership position. Syniverse led the successful implementation of wireless local number portability in the United States by serving as the primary hub for communication between wireless carriers and the Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC), providing various elements of wireless number portability to five of the top six U.S. wireless carriers.
